How many hours does the average employee work? Any guesses? Believe it or not, but it is just over 8 hours a day! At least according to the US consensus it is. Now, most people that I know are working 8-12 hour days, on salary. We know that employers don’t like paying overtime, so hourly paid employees work less than those on salary. I experienced that when I was on salary as an employee.
When in there do you have time to go to the park with your kids, or watch their school play or athletic events? Will you ever get to see you children walk for the first time or say “Dadda?” When is there any time for improvement? When do you find time to relax, have fun, and enjoy the things that mean the most to you? Some might say they do all those things on the weekend. Ok, good for you. So you get two days out of seven to have fun, spend time with your family, travel, improve yourself, attend events, and live your life. If you are currently doing this, you are settling! I will say it straight out. You are settling for what someone else has given you. They say I get five or more days a week and you get one or two, with a two week vacation, and you say DEAL! At first, it’s easy to see why Nature’s Sunshine Products, Inc. has been a mainstay MLM business for a very long time. The demand for wellness products has always been high and Nature’s Sunshine has expanded and diversified it’s product line over the years to cover almost every conceivable niche need for it’s market. If you’re new to MLM, this might seem like a company you can really get behind, but like any other business opportunity, it pays to do a little digging first.
The Company
Nature’s Sunshine also owns Synergy Worldwide, a direct marketing company that sells nutritional supplements. Both companies have manufacturing, production and research facilities in Spanish Fork, Utah, although Nature’s Sunshine Products’ headquarters are located in Provo, Utah. My opinion on this is backed up by the fact that I am actually doing it, and I am earning more in the process than I ever have in any regular job I’ve ever done. I also get more time off (at the time of writing I have taken on less work so I can watch Wimbledon!) and my life is my own.
So what is this online work that gives you all this and more?
The answer is writing for websites. Most of what I do is ghostwriting: that is, writing articles for websites and for other people that end up being published under their name instead of my own. Continue reading ‘What is the Best Work at Home Job Online?’ »

Primerica Financial Services is a financial services company that is structured through the MLM business model. Representatives can earn either by selling various financial products and services like life insurance, mutual funds, variable annuities, segregated funds, loans, long-term care insurance and pre-paid legal services or by actively recruiting more representatives to do the same and get a commissions from their sales. Using an MLM business model to sell financial services might draw some criticism, but so far, it has paid off well for Primerica. But if you’re reading this article, then I suspect the bigger question is whether it will pay off well for you too.
The Company
Primerica, whose headquarters are located in Duluth, Georgia, is a subsidiary of Citigroup, which by itself, should ease concerns about whether this particular MLM is a legitimate business. Citigroup simply has too much at stake to risk involvement with a dodgy subsidiary to tarnish it’s name. Primerica has gotten a lot of criticism for aggressively recruiting just about anybody to become a representative (a hazard of using an MLM business format), but the products and services sold under the Primerica name are, by all indications, legitimate. Zrii health juice MLM business is a fairly straightforward introduction into MLM. By any standard, this is a legitimate MLM business without any red flags. There’s a definite product endorsed by the one of the biggest endorsements ever seen in the MLM industry, The Chopra Center For Well Being, which was founded by Indian physician and author, Deepak Chopra. The founder and CEO of Zrii is business tycoon and billionaire Bill Farley. That’s a lot of credibility right out of the gate. This should simmer down any thoughts of illegitimacy within the company as there is too much at stake as far as reputations are concerned. There’s also a clearly defined compensation plan that actually lets you earn in several different ways and let’s you play to your strengths as a distributor. TRU Chocolate is an MLM business opportunity that offers “guilt free” chocolate at a reasonable price. Basically, you have a very sellable product that will appeal to calorie conscious chocolate lovers. But as with most MLM businesses, you really need to step up to responsibility of running a business in order to see significant results.
The Company
TRU Chocolate comes from the TRU Nutrition Company, which merged with another company called Youngevity Essential Life Sciences. It’s worth mentioning that Youngevity, a 12 year old company based in Chula Vista, CA was founded by Dr. Joel Wallach who is a veterinarian and naturopath (but not a medical doctor). That, by itself, doesn’t raise any red flags, but his claim that all diseases are due to mineral deficiencies does test the limits of my open-mindedness.
Still, Xylitol, the sweetener used in Tru Chocolate, does check out as a safe low-calorie alternative to sugar, which makes it a good choice for diabetic chocolate lovers. Continue reading ‘Tru Chocolate MLM Business Reviewed’ »

You have a choice. You can choose to work for someone else’s dream or you can choose to guide your own life. Wouldn’t you rather spend all of your time doing something you really like doing? Of course you would. There are many people doing exactly that and they don’t have any financial worries. You can do the same thing. Being an entrepreneur is not for a select few. You don’t necessarily have to been born into an entrepreneurial family to become happy in your choices and make money at it. You also don’t have to necessarily have a degree, a trade. Or even know someone. Just don’t be afraid to believe in yourself, no matter what anyone else thinks or says about your ideas.
Some people are millionaires selling you what whatever it is they are telling you will make you a millionaire. Did I say that right. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to become a millionaire? Of course it would. But wouldn’t it also be wonderful to make what you make in your current job or even more than that just doing something you really enjoy and love to do? That would be great! Everyone, at some point or another, has come across an offer that sounds SO amazing, you can’t help but take the chance on it. Why not, it’s only $19.99/$29.99/$49.99/$199.99, right? What’s there to lose? No selling, no hard work, the “system” does everything for you, and you’ll get thousands of dollars a month or week for only a couple hours of work.
Unfortunately, these “systems” really, are nothing more than a big, fat scam. Most systems are affiliate-based, meaning you pay, they tell you to get other people signed up, and you earn when someone does. Affiliate sales, in itself, not a bad or wrong system – but for these “get rich quick” schemes, what you’re selling is a dream that can’t ever be fulfilled. Basically, these systems work by having you sell the scam, get more people into it, who then continue to sell the scam. There are a few that are less clear-cut than that – some have you go to an affiliate service, like Clickbank, and write ads for products there and earn affiliate commissions that way. Unfortunately, you can do that without buying a high-priced “system”, and that’s how they get you, by not telling you exactly what you’ll be doing and thus get your money before you realize you could have done it for free. Whether you’re a coach, consultant or small business owner, it is absolutely necessary to create systems to organize your business. From developing your services, handling your the day-to-day operations to servicing your clients — it is a MUST that you organize with processes and systems!
Creating process maps and systems will kick your profits into high gear and allow you to leverage your skills, experience and knowledge in an expanded way. Think about the things you do over and over again and how easy it will be to turn it into a few steps and then a process.
Think about how you service clients or what you do before meeting with a prospect and turn it into a step or process.
Over the years of managing multiple projects, here are two tips that I swear by:

It is the American dream to own your own business. The number of people that will start a small business or home business is staggering. Starting your own business is a big step to take and can be very scary. Fear of failure is one of the biggest reasons that hold people back from quitting their job and starting a small business.
Many feel confident when starting business when they purchase a franchise. Franchises have systems in place that are tried and tested. They have a proven track record and therefore people think that there is less likelihood of failing. All they have to do is follow the system and success. All too often success is not achieved.
Franchises are very costly to purchase. Then after the initial purchase of the franchise, there is monthly franchise and mandatory advertising costs that have to be paid. These are paid whether you are turning a net profit or not. Advertising fees are paid even if the advertising dollars are not spent in your area or benefiting your business.
